After much hemming and hawing, I bit the bullet and bought a ticket the morning of the The Damned gig in Exeter to see them that night. I knew that did want to see them, but didn't know if I could be asked to drive up to Exeter on my own. Fortunately my friend Tim convinced me to go and I am soooo glad that I did. WHAT A GIG!! They were in top form and played a nice mix of old and new, with a lot of banter in between. They're actually pretty funny and don't take themselves too seriously which is nice to see!
