Day 98:
Since everything in England is old, you come across some very interesting signs, such as the one above placed on the outside of an old toll house. This is along the Yealm River in Noss Mayo and these were the fares to get across the river to Newton Ferrers on the ferry, upon which you can bring your pony, corn and potatoes. What the fares translate into, or even how they are calculated, I have no idea. It's just one of the many charms of living in an oldy-worldy place!
